Steven Liu教授简介：

Professor Steven Liu received Dr.-Ing. degree from Berlin University of Technology/Germany in 1992. Between 1993 and 2000 he worked as a senior researcher and manager at renowned international companies AEG and Daimler-Benz AG. Between 2000 and 2004 he was appointed a professor of automatic control and electrical drives at the Harz University of Applied Studies and Research. From 2000 to 2005 he also served as scientific director of the company “Institute of Automation and Computer Sciences Ltd.” In 2004 he joined the University of Kaiserslautern as a full-professor and director of Institute of Control Systems. Between 2007 and 2010 he was the dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Kaiserslautern, a top-ranked technical university in Germany. He currently is supervisor of 11 PhD students and is responsible for the graduate programme “Control and Automation”.

Professor Liu serves as an editorial board member for the official IFAC-journal “Control Engineering Practice” and as chairman of section A2 (control of electrical tractions) of VDE (German association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies). Professor Liu was selected as a candidate for the "Thousand People Plan" of the Chinese government and has been honored as an "Special Oversea Expert" by the All-China Union of Oversea Chinese.
